ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a creator, a creator who primarily works with a pencil, rarely a pen, sometimes a paintbrush, and occasionally a keyboard and mouse. It always starts with the pencil, the necessity of my art life that can transition into anything I want it to. What you will see and come to know is my passion, my muse that has drawn me into art from a young age. It’s character creation, the thing that makes all the artwork I do from graded art assignments to doodles in my sketchbook worthwhile. How do I do it? Where do I start? It simply starts from inspiration and continues and ends with my imagination. This intangible collaboration with other artists makes the art you see diverse because I’m not being shackled to one surface, one utensil, or one perspective. There’s always room to not only improve but experiment.
